There is perhaps no more beautiful time of the year than spring. The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and everyone seems to be in a great and happy more. This is one tip that not likely many people employ, but they should. Pollen and other spring allergens aren’t only in the outside world, they can also find their way into your home. They can come in on shoes, through windows and many more ways. By keeping windows closes and using A/C, taking shoes off at the door, and keeping your home clean, it can go a long way to limiting your allergic reactions.

2. Take Medication

If you are aware of your allergies, you really should be taking some form of allergy medication. There are numerous different offerings for many different severity and types of allergies and it is recommended you do some research on them and make sure they are what you’re looking for. These things will be a lifesaver and will save you from a lot of the annoyance that these springtime allergies can bring.

3. Be Careful When You’re Outside

One of the biggest culprits of the annoying spring allergies is the millions of tiny little pollen grains that are released into the air by trees every spring. When these are breathed in or get in your eyes, they can lead to nasty allergic reactions. In order to combat this, you should wear sunglasses and also avoid being outside for too long during the morning hours or when it is windy, as those are the times when the pollen is the worst. Also, be sure to clean off and even shower after you come back in, as pollen could otherwise be tracked into your home.
