How To Make Thin Hair Appear Thicker

BodyHacks presents to you… how to make your thin hair appear thicker in 4 simple steps, because we’ve got your back (or at least your head.)
Don’t pull at your hair when styling
When blow-drying or straightening our hair, it’s very common to tug at it to get it to try to get it to fall perfectly. This tugging is the number one thing to avoid when it comes to making your hair appear thicker because it will cause your hair to fall flat (which is the exact opposite of what we want it to do.) Volume is essential when attempting to make thin hair appear thicker.
Opt for a shorter cut
The law of gravity is no joke. Longer hair is naturally heavier than short hair and this heaviness pulls at the roots, making your hair more flat. A shorter cut will decrease the weight of your hair and will make it appear both thicker and more voluminous.
Ask for layers
If you can’t fully commit to a shorter cut, opt for layers instead. Layers will also decrease the weight of your hair but you’ll still be able to maintain some length at your longest layers. The shorter hairs on top will be more voluminous while the ends will still have you feeling like rapunzel.
Utilize products
Products like mousse, hair spray, texturizing spray, dry shampoo, sea salt spray, etc. are all known to boost the volume of your hair. Get to know which product (or combination of products) work best for you and use them to make your hair appear more thick!
