Red wine is said to contain compounds known as procyanidins, which have an active role in protecting against heart disease. It seems that wine made in the south of France have higher contents of these ingredients that can help keep heart disease at bay. And in addition to helping with heart disease, wine can also help reduce the risk of heart attacks as moderate drinkers with high blood pressure are said to have up to a 30% lower risk of actually having a heart attack than non-drinkers.

Resveratol has been known to help improve short term memory, as confirmed by experiments where people who took Resveratol had a much higher retention of info than those who didn’t.
