One of the most challenging things to deal with is self-doubt. We all have points in our lives where we question if we are doing enough or doing the right things. This self-doubt and fear can really hold you back, so here are three great ways to help deal with it when it does arise.

1. Stop Comparing Accomplishments

This is probably one of the biggest culprits behind why so many deal with self-doubt so often. You will oftentimes find that when you compare what you are doing to what others are doing (whether it be friends, family or colleagues), it will likely lead to some form of self-doubt. The key here is to only focus on your own journey and do your best to only concern yourself with being a better person than you were yesterday.

2. Practice Self-Compassion

The natural way to deal with when you doubt yourself, is to give yourself some compassion. Problem is, this is not too easy for some people. They may be able to be compassionate towards others, but maybe not to themselves. But you really should do your best to be compassionate to yourself as not only can it strengthen your mental resilience, but it can also help you have better overall mental health.

3. Speak with Friends and Family

While it is great to go at this alone and strengthen your self-compassion, it is also very beneficial to get some support from family and friends in times of need. These are individuals that will be there to listen and help you with your problems anytime you need. Sometimes, getting a little reassurance from your friends and family is all you need to get back on the horse and stop doubting yourself.
