These are the take-em-anywhere exercise. You can squat wherever you find the ground beneath your feet. No exercise is better suited for right now than the squat. Plant your feet anywhere from shoulder to hip-width apart. Break your stance at your hips, lowering your rear as if you were going to sit. As your hips lower, close to the height of your knees, your knees will push forward. Push those knees out to the side to open your hips, then come back up when you get as far down as you can go. That point should be determined by how far down you can keep your back straight.
