Planks are just the top part of a push-up, held as long as possible. Like the push-up, your hands will be shoulder width apart. I know, everyone planks on their elbows, but you don’t use your elbows to push anything in life, so don’t do it in your planks. Screw your palms into the floor, the left one counterclockwise, and the right one clockwise. Suck in your belly button shortening the distance between said button and your anus. Tighten your glutes maximally, then hold. A good first goal is 30-seconds.
