Face yoga… yup, it’s a real thing. Not only is it a real thing, but it has also been said to exhibit the same effects as a face lift!
Face yoga works to stimulate all of the layers of your skin allowing for proper circulation, and oxygen flow throughout your skin, therefore making your skin appear more youthful.
While there are hundreds of face yoga ‘poses,’ below are a couple of the best
1. Fill your cheeks with air and try to make your mouth as small possible. Tap your air-filled cheeks lightly a few times to stretch your cheeks. Alternate sides and tap for 3 seconds.
2. Fill your cheeks with as much air as possible and pass the air from cheek to cheek (almost like you’re rinsing your mouth sans liquid.) Do this for 30 seconds.
3. Tilt your head back so the back of your head is touching your shoulders. Begin ‘kissing the sky’ and continue kissing for 30 seconds. It may help to make a kissing noise.
You may want to consider practicing face yoga in the privacy of your own home, unless of course you want people to think that you’re absolutely insane.
