Doctors couldn’t fix her and she nearly died. The diet she chose next changed her life forever.

Cleared to travel in Uganda, Danielle embarked on a 36-hour journey home for a blood transfusion. The risks of such a procedure in a country rife with diseases was too great. There is no telling just how close she came to losing her life, but without that trip home she would not have survived.
