If you are interested in bettering your mind, body and life, Tim Ferriss is someone you should make yourself familiar with. Ferriss is an awarding winning author as well as an angel investor in some of the biggest companies out there such as Facebook, Twitter, Uber and more. His books and work appear in the “self-help” genre and has had numerous books appear on various bestsellers lists, and these books have helped millions in a number of different ways.
He has authored three books (all of which appeared at number one on at least one bestseller list) which are titled: The 4-Hour Workweek, The 4-Hour Body and The 4-Hour Chef. These books are all about bettering oneself in one way or another and I will now go over each book briefly and say how they can help you gain better control of your life and/or body.
The 4-Hour Workweek is his first and most successful book to date. The book has sold well over a million copies and appeared on the New York Times bestseller list for a period of around 4 years. The book is all about the idea of “lifestyle design” and goes against the traditional view of work extremely hard and take no vacations now, so you can relax in retirement. The books centers around escaping the “workaholic” lifestyle and enjoying your time.
His next book was The 4-Hour Body and this book focuses on more than 50 topics all about improving your body. Included in these topics are fat loss, increasing strength, getting more stamina and much more. He interviewed hundreds of experts for this book over a period of three years to add legitimacy to all the tips and things discussed in the book.
And finally, his third and most recent book was The 4-Hour Chef. As you could imagine, this book was all about tips for eating better and contained recipes and tips for the skill of cooking as well.
So, as you can see, his books have been extremely successful and consist of a number of great ideas and tips for being the best you that you can be.
