It’s true, the environment you are in and around can affect the quality of your sight. First and foremost, the rooms you find yourself in should be softly lit and not too bright. If they are, you risk putting unnecessary strain on your eyes all day. Also, keeping the light source behind you is often better than the light being right in front of you. In addition to lights, keeping air quality solid to reduce dry eyes can also go a long way in prolonging good vision.

This is something that we all need to be reminded of, but giving our eyes a break are crucial in making sure they are working well. Realistically, you should be giving your eyes a decent break from a screen about once an hour for at least a little bit of time. Also, getting a solid sleep is also hugely beneficial in eye health as it allows eyes to get rest, repair and recover from the strain they take all day.
