Gluten is often associated with a sluggish metabolism, leaving your body less effective at removing any toxins that might have built up over time. If you’re trying to give yourself a boost, you can cut out a little of the gluten-based products that you might already eat and replace them with slow release energy alternatives. Processed foods can have the same effect as gluten, too, so make sure you’re getting enough fresh produce to see you through.

As you stretch out your muscles, you flood your body with oxygenated blood, allowing it to flow to places that might have previously been too difficult for it to reach.
