Again, you can injure yourself no matter how you run. A better way to consider running or any activity for that matter is, you will suffer some level of fatigue or injury. Accept it now so you don’t blame the activity later. Work overtime to prevent it, then work tirelessly to understand how it happened when it does. Most injuries are recoverable with time.
