Three Great “At Home” Exercise Equipment

In today’s day and age of various health and fitness crazes and the infomercial, there are a ton of useless and questionable home workout equipment that you really shouldn’t look into buying. However, amongst the hordes of awful, at home exercise gear, there are some really good machines out there that would be perfect for a little home gym.
1. Elliptical Trainer
This is perfect for the home as it gives you most of the benefits of a full sized elliptical, but can fit in a much smaller space and takes up way less space during use. While you lose the upper body workout that comes with a regular one, you still get the low impact cardio and the machine also forces you to balance yourself, which works your core in addition to your legs.
2. Adjustable Dumbbells
Dumbbells are without a doubt one of the focal points of any workout. And while great, getting a whole set with different weights can be both space consuming and annoying. It is better to opt for a pair of adjustable dumbbells. This allows for a very versatile workout, with much less clutter and can keep you from stagnating if you only have weights that go up to a certain amount. A number of companies make these and they are more advanced than ever and work flawlessly.
3. Rowing Machine
Out of all the home gym equipment you could get, I feel this is the best. Not only does it give you a fantastic cardio exercise that is easy on the joints, but it also provides you with a very decent upper body exercise and can tone your body. I am shocked that more people don’t use this as their primary cardio workout as it can give you a solid full body workout in less time than most people spend on a treadmill.
