Getting your health in good knick starts from the inside out and to make sure you’re in the best shape possible, it pays to go straight to the source of trouble. Toxins are a part of our environment that we can’t avoid and with all the chemical compounds used in our everyday items, we are bombarded with them at every turn. An average person might have as many as 215 toxins in their system at any one time and letting them build up can lead to things like muscle soreness, depression and even certain diseases. Ridding your body of toxins, then, is no laughing matter and by picking up these habits, you can be free of the chemicals faster than you might have thought.

  1. Work Up A Sweat

Sweating is one of your body’s natural ways of removing toxins from the inside out and the more you do it, the more of the chemicals that can be removed. While your body can do this process naturally, you can try using steam rooms and saunas as an extra boost in the department. Staying in for up to 10 minutes at a time can be all that it takes to help to increase your body’s sweat production and remove your built up toxins. Make sure you rehydrate afterwards to replenish your water stores; you don’t want to feel too dizzy, after all!

  1. Cut Out The Gluten

Gluten is often associated with a sluggish metabolism, leaving your body less effective at removing any toxins that might have built up over time. If you’re trying to give yourself a boost, you can cut out a little of the gluten-based products that you might already eat and replace them with slow release energy alternatives. Processed foods can have the same effect as gluten, too, so make sure you’re getting enough fresh produce to see you through.

  1. Stretch Often

Ever wondered why you feel so good after a full body stretch? It could be all down to toxins. As you stretch out your muscles, you flood your body with oxygenated blood, allowing it to flow to places that might have previously been too difficult for it to reach. As oxygenated blood flows in, toxins can flow out, leaving you feeling refreshed and in better shape. Try stretching in the morning, during the working day or even as part of a yoga routine. You’ll be feeling better in no time at all!
